Raspberry Pi

I am quite fond of our Raspberry Pis. We currently have 6.

1 is attached to the TV, and is always on. It runs Raspbmc (now renamed) and is attached to a 1Tb drive with music and films.

1 is attached to the router. It runs Squid (a proxy server) and Squidguard. It’s probably unnecessary 🙂

The children have one each. Daughter #1 and #2 use theirs mostly for Minecraft, playing music, and writing stories. Son #1 has his set up as a Raspberry Pi jukebox as in Carrie Anne Philbin’s book.

The final one, a Model A, is part of a wheeled robot that I have still not finished making.

Some posts here will expand on these little projects.
